As we expand our initiatives in regenerative agriculture and community-based restoration, we are seeking a Soil and Agriculture Specialist to join our passionate, impact-driven team. What You’ll Do As a Soil and Agriculture Specialist at IORA, you will: ✅ Assess and improve soil health through field-based surveys, laboratory analysis, and collaborative diagnostics. ✅ Design and implement climate-resilient farming systems —agroforestry models, cover cropping, organic amendments, and more. ✅ Lead training programs and demonstration plots with local communities to build knowledge and accelerate adoption of regenerative practices. ✅ Work hand-in-hand with forest-dependent communities and smallholder farmers, fostering co-creation of solutions that respect local wisdom and ecological realities. ✅ Partner with cross-disciplinary teams—ecologists, hydrologists, social scientists—to ensure holistic project outcomes. ✅ Develop knowledge products and insights to influence policy, scaling regenerative agriculture as a pillar of India’s climate and development agenda.
