Manager R&D

As a Manager R&D at Godrej Foods Ltd., your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - New product development & value addition to existing products - Product Re-Engineering through ingredient Solution for cost optimization - Conducting Lab trial as well as online trials for new products - Coordinating with production, quality, purchase, marketing, sales departments for any new product launching - Drafting Raw material and finished goods specification for new products - Revising raw material and finished goods specification as and when required - Developing SOP/rules and ensuring their implementation - Conducting Shelf Life Study of Various products - Providing regulatory inputs for regulatory compliance for all Products for domestic as well as export market - Understanding technical standards, FSSAI standards, CODEX Standards, Nutritional labeling, etc. - Keeping abreast of changes in regulations relating to all products including changes in standards labeling, Nutrition Labeling, additives and new additives, Formulation Clearances - Preparing scientific and technical background notes on any issue related to ingredients, formulations, additives, as and when required - Reviewing formulations for the Products for compliance with the current approval lists and regulations and providing inputs for all proposed innovations - Routinely checking/commenting/correcting/approving all artworks, back of pack labels, and other printed materials related to all products including pack change proposals - Data mining and preparing crisp and science-based notes - Reviewing claim support data and pointing out deficiencies of data for product claims to be written on Product - Being comfortable working and tasting with Non-veg products Qualifications required: - B Tech / MSc / M Tech in Food Tech/ Food Science - Experience of 8 to 12 years in NPD/R & D of Frozen Foods, QSR, seasonings, breadcrumb manufacturer, Culinary industry At Godrej Foods Ltd., there is a strong focus on employee wellness and inclusivity.
