Manager-QA(Civil):Oman

Job Summary:

The Civil – QA/QC Manager will be responsible for ensuring quality compliance of civil works in solar power project, with a primary focus on piling and post installation activities. The role involves implementing quality control systems, conducting inspections and tests, coordinating with stakeholders, and maintaining comprehensive quality documentation in line with project specifications and applicable standards.

Location- Al -Duqm, Oman (Deputation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and oversee Quality Control activities for civil works in solar projects, with emphasis on piling and post installation.
• Review and approve ITPs, Method Statements, Quality Plans, and ensure compliance with project specifications and IFC drawings.
• Conduct and witness inspections and tests for piling layout, installation, alignment, verticality, depth control, and torque/pull-out tests.
• Verify incoming materials through IMIR/MTC review and monitor related activities such as grouting, backfilling, and compaction.
• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, and Third-Party Inspectors for hold, witness, and surveillance points.
• Maintain quality documentation including inspection records, test reports, NCRs, as-built data, and support handover to structure installation teams.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 7–10 years of relevant experience in solar power plant construction, with strong exposure to piling and post installation works.
• Hands-on knowledge of driven, bored, screw, and micro-piles used in solar projects.
• Familiarity with survey controls, pile tolerances, soil investigation reports, and pile design basics.
• Proficiency in QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, MARs, IMIRs, and inspection checklists.
• Working knowledge of ASTM standards related to piling and testing, and basic understanding of ISO 9001 systems.
