Educational Qualifications: B.E (Mechanical/SCM/Production)

Relevant Experience: 12 to 15 Years

Job purpose

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies and policies and enhancing supply chain efficiency.
• Identifying, evaluating and selecting suppliers based on quality, reliability, cost effectiveness and adherence to ethical and suitability standards.
• Negotiating with contracts and terms with suppliers to ensurable favorable pricing and payment terms.
• Creating mutually beneficial agreement within organization and supplier.
• Collaborating with internal stake holders to understand there requirements and alien procurement activities with organizational goals.
• Conducting Market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, supplier capabilities
• and pricing fluctuations.
• Managing supplier relationship ongoing performance evaluations, issue resolution and sustaining long term partnership.
• Monitoring inventory level and implement inventory management policies/strategies to manage stock level to avoid shortages and accesses.

Roles and responsibilities

• Source and negotiate with potential supplier.
• Capability assessment and suitability evaluation.
• Managing supplier relationship through regular communications
• Annalise inventory levels, forecast demand. Optimize stock level through consumption pattern and cost reduction.
• Prepared and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost saving to higher management.
• Sourcing/ Procurement of RM/BOP/Consumable.
• Good understanding on RM sourcing.
• Inventory management.
• Supplier reconciliation.
• Team management.
