Job Overview

As a Manager, Purchase, you will be taking End-to-end procurement ownership for cloud and central kitchens, ensuring cost-efficient sourcing, vendor management, inventory control, and SOP-compliant supply of all food and kitchen consumables.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end procurement for

    Vegetables, fruits, dairy, Fresh chicken, dry groceries, packaging, disposables, and other kitchen consumables

    .
  • Identify, onboard, and develop

    local and regional vendors

    for Hyderabad operations.
  • Ensure

    cost-effective purchasing

    without compromising on quality and food safety.
  • Finalize rate contracts, negotiate pricing, credit terms, and service levels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors.
  • Monitor vendor performance on

    quality, pricing, delivery timelines, and compliance

    .
  • Coordinate with central kitchen and cloud kitchen teams for

    forecasting and demand planning

    .
  • Ensure

    optimal inventory levels

    to avoid stock-outs and wastage.
  • Monitor perishables shelf life and implement FIFO/FEFO practices.
  • Support central kitchen procurement and distribution planning.
  • Track purchase costs vs budget and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare

    purchase MIS, vendor-wise spend, price variance, and consumption reports

    .
  • Support finance team with invoice verification, GRNs, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procurement SOPs and approvals.
  • Implement and follow

    standard procurement SOPs

    for Salad Days.
  • Support new store and central kitchen launches from a procurement perspective.
  • Coordinate with logistics for timely inward and distribution.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in supply chain management, logistics, or related field
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in purchasing & supply chain
  • High proficiency with MS Office and MIS
  • Experience in leading and managing teams
  • Excellent communication abilities
