Job Description

Role Overview: As the Manager - Program and Operations at the Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy (CSIP) at Ashoka University, you will be responsible for effectively planning, executing, and overseeing CSIP's programs and daily operational activities. Your role will involve managing partnerships and contracting processes to ensure the smooth functioning of the center. Key Responsibility: - Program Management: - Oversee the end-to-end planning, implementation, and evaluation of CSIP's programs and initiatives. - Develop detailed program plans, timelines, and budgets aligned with CSIP's strategic goals. - Monitor program progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. - Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders for effective program delivery. - Operations Management: - Manage the daily operational activities of CSIP to ensure efficient functioning. - Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency. - Oversee administrative functions such as procurement, logistics, and resource allocation. - Ensure compliance with internal Ashoka University policies and external regulations. - Partnerships and Contracting: - Manage communications and reporting with key partners, funders, collaborators, and service providers. - Negotiate and manage contracts, MOUs, and other agreements with partners and vendors. - Ensure all contractual obligations are met and relationships are maintained effectively. - Explore new partnership opportunities aligned with CSIP's mission and objectives. - Team Collaboration: - Work collaboratively with research, communications, and leadership teams to achieve CSIP's objectives. - Provide support and guidance to program-related staff as needed. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Policy, Social Work, Development Studies, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of total work experience, with significant experience in program management and operations. - Prior experience in the social sector is strongly preferred. - Proven experience in managing partnerships and contracting processes.
