Manager - Production

As a Plant Manager, your role involves providing strong leadership to the plant staff, including managers, engineers, technicians, and operators. You will be responsible for developing and effectively communicating the plant's vision, goals, and objectives, while fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities: - Monitor daily operations to meet production targets and quality standards - Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost reduction - Troubleshoot operational issues - Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies - Implement and maintain effective safety programs - Conduct regular safety audits - Ensure product quality specifications are met - Manage the plant's budget - Oversee maintenance activities - Coordinate equipment upgrades - Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Qualifications required: - Relevant experience in the chemical/metals manufacturing industry - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Technology In this role, you will report to the Manufacturing Head and will need competencies such as strong communication skills, detail orientation, innovative thinking, leadership, problem-solving abilities, and effective teamwork. Your authorities will include sanctioning leave and gate passes, authorizing GRNs and PRs, and approving consumable/chemical issuances from the stores.,
