Job Description

Ensure all resources like Man, Material, Machine availability as per plan and follow up with the respective section/Dept.
Conducting daily shift start up meeting with line employees to discuss Safety, QA, and Productivity performance with line leaders and team members.
Conducting daily production meeting with all service departments and production manager to update last days Safety, In-process Quality, Downtime, OEE, JPH performance and action plan review for improvement.
Initiating actions and follow up for downtime reduction and OEE improvement.
Responsible for consumable control, non std. manpower reduction, overtime reduction and other cost saving initiatives.
Preparation of Multi Skill Matrix for operators & Rotation Trainings plan.
Insuring product quality as per measurement standard, if any deviation found then conducting root cause analysis and taking necessary corrective actions.
Ensuring all processes run and new operator training using OJT methodology.
Customer concerns, QRE feedback & PDI issues resolution
Ensuring 100% PPE adherence of safety procedures on line and Lead by example by wearing PPE at all times.
Ensuring implementation & strong adherence to 5-S.
Accident investigation, reporting & follow through of corrective action items for near miss & safety incidents.
Ensure team member safety awareness through training, pre-shift meetings, & individual consultation; strive for continuous improvement in injury reduction.
Discipline team members per company policies & procedures.
Promote and assist in team building, build positive Team Member relations and demonstrate positive leadership skills; lead by example.
Organize, maintain and promote a safe work environment
