Manager- Procurement

As a Procurement lead at Prudential Health India (PHI), you will play a crucial role in supporting the mission to make Indians healthier and bridging the health protection gap. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with functional users to understand the capabilities/products/services required for delivering their plans. - Identifying key attributes for choosing vendors and advising on procurement approaches, timelines, and costs. - Documenting clear and well-articulated Request for Proposal (RFP)/ Request for Information (RFI) /Request for Quotation (RFQ) for vendor selection. - Evaluating vendor proposals and recommending vendor choices and terms. - Engaging with vendors, answering queries, and coordinating commercial negotiations and contract agreements. - Ensuring procurement governance by adhering to Group policies, regulations, and procurement requirements for each vendor procurement. - Overseeing project management to meet business procurement requirements in a timely manner. Qualifications for the role include: - Ability to craft successful product conceptualization by understanding market environment, consumer behavior, and business ambition. - Strong empathy and understanding of user motivations. - Effective collaboration across disciplines such as Technology, Product, Operations, Marketing & Analytics teams. - Passion for interactive operation, problem-solving, and effective communication. - Proficiency in identifying metrics & analytics for tracking process efficiencies and continuous improvement.
