Job Description

Key Purpose of the Job:

collaborating with sales teams to design tailored cloud solutions, conduct technical presentations and demonstrations, and respond to proposals (RFPs/RFIs) for potential customers

Key Responsibilities:

  • data architecture, data modelling,

    and

    enterprise data management, with a strong focus on

    cloud-native

    and

    hybrid data solutions.

  • Proven

    hands-on expertise in solution design, leveraging both

    free and commercial tools

    to deliver scalable, secure, and cost-effective Data Cloud

    solutions.

  • Deep knowledge of

    Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

    services, including

    BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Dataproc,

    Cloud Composer, and

    Looker; additional exposure to

    AWS

    is a plus.

  • Strong background in

    data warehousing modernisation,

    including migration from legacy platforms (e.g., Teradata, Oracle, Netezza) to

    BigQuery

    or other GCP-native solutions.

  • Proficient in

    SQL

    and Python and familiar with languages such as

    Java

    and

    Scala

    for data engineering and pipeline orchestration.

  • Expertise in designing and implementing

    ETL/ELT pipelines, leveraging

    CI/CD,

    Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and

    automated deployment tools

    (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Build, GitLab CI).

  • Solid understanding of

    data governance,

    security best practices,

    access controls, and

    regulatory compliance

    in cloud-based environments.

  • Extensive

    pre-sales experience, including

    solutioning, effort estimation, client workshops, and

    technical presentations

    for C-level executives and key stakeholders.

  • Outstanding

    presentation, communication, and

    stakeholder management

    skills with the ability to bridge business needs and technical execution.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead

    proof-of-concept (PoC) projects, respond to

    RFPs/RFIs, and create compelling

    solution architectures

    that align with client goals.

  • Comfortable working in

    fast-paced, matrixed environments, managing

    multiple priorities

    and meeting

    tight deadlines

    with precision.
