Job Description

As a People Operations Manager for the APAC region at Meltwater, your role involves driving operational excellence and leading the People Ops team across multiple countries. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional employee experiences, managing day-to-day People Operations tasks, and ensuring operational excellence within the APAC region. **Key Responsibilities:** - Lead and manage the APAC People Operations team, providing coaching, guidance, and career development. - Oversee core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS transactions, benefits, and immigration across the region. - Ensure compliance with local labor laws and internal policies in APAC locations. - Partner with global People team on company-wide projects, offering an APAC perspective to HR initiatives. - Collaborate with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, process improvements, and automation initiatives throughout the employee lifecycle. - Build strong relationships with employees and managers, providing proactive support and resolving People-related queries. - Manage vendor relationships for benefits, background checks, and contractor onboarding in APAC. - Lead training initiatives for maintaining operational efficiency and self-serve programs. - Conduct internal audits and ensure data integrity and compliance of people systems. - Drive strategic People Operations projects to enhance employee experience and operational excellence. - Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to support decision-making. **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of progressive HR/People Operations experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity. - Strong knowledge of HR practices and compliance requirements in multiple APAC countries. - Experience with Workday or other HRIS platforms. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suites. - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. - Passion for building scalable processes and improving employee experiences. - Ability to lead through change and ambiguity with a hands-on, team-first mindset. - High emotional intelligence and authentic leadership style.
