Manager - Operations

• Direct all production activities at the plant site. Align plant production objectives with overall business unit strategy.
• Ensure maximum efficiency and productivity of production facility.
• Ensure production volume, cost and quality of production, and production schedules are met.
• Manage, train, and develop direct reports through the other developmental programs.
• Direct, control and supervise the Production, Logistics, Maintenance, Process functions and Manufacturing Engineering.
• Planning of resource, materials and time to produce the highest quality product time at the lowest possible cost.
• To propose capital expenditure to meet the business units strategies.
• Promote the policy of continuing improvements and quality certifications within all areas of the business unit to the appropriate level.
• Achieve financial objectives by preparing the Operational budgets; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; compiling and studying costs; initiating corrective actions, LRP budgeting.
• Control and monitor safety of all employees, implement safe working practices and procedures.
• To be familiar with all company safety policies and programs and follow them.
• To actively participate in the company safety programs to achieve the yearly safety goals.
• To communicate and ensure that all employees in their team understand the policies and programs and follow them.
• Identification and closure of safety issues and their corrective actions.
• Training employees on safety topics and risk assessments (JSA).
• Develop & Ensure production plan
• Prepare monthly reports
• Continual improvement through implementation of Lean, 5S, Six Sigma and Kaizen and maintain ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001
• Implementation of capital projects
• Manage team/people (People Management).
• Train and coach team members
• Willing to relocate within India & overseas.
• Drive for result.
• Follow and practice safety and environmental policies and procedure.
• Make Understanding of Legal Register - Applicable to EHS & Follow & complies the scope compliances
• Ensuring the achievements of key objectives of Quality, Production, Logistics & Maintenance inline with management and customer requirements.
• To set the departmental objectives for the employees.
• Promotion & Motivation of employees

Experience : More than 15 years of experience in Manufacturing operations.

Industry Preferred :Automotive/ Manufacturing

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech (Mechanical/Automobile)

Desirable : Masters Operations / Engineering
