Manager - Legal

About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Counsel to join our team. The ideal

candidate will manage a broad spectrum of legal, compliance, and corporate governance

matters, providing strategic counsel to support business growth and ensure regulatory

compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contract Management:

  Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including

software licensing, SaaS agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, partnership agreements,

and employment contracts.

• Compliance & Regulatory:

  Ensure the organization complies with relevant laws and

regulations, including data protection (GDPR, CCPA), cybersecurity, export controls, and

industry-specific requirements.

• Intellectual Property:

  Manage the companys IP portfolio, including patents,

trademarks, copyrights, and trade secrets. Collaborate with external counsel to protect

innovations and technologies.

• Risk Management:

  Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate

them. Provide legal guidance on business initiatives, product development, and

operational matters.

• Corporate Governance:

  Support corporate secretarial functions, including board

meetings, shareholder communications, and adherence to corporate laws.

• Policy Development:

  Draft, implement, and maintain company policies, including

privacy policies, employee conduct guidelines, and codes of ethics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB); additional qualifications (LLM, MBA, or certifications) are a plus.
• Proven experience in corporate law, contracts, IP management, compliance, and corporate governance.
• Strong negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and provide strategic legal counsel in a dynamic environment.
