Overall purpose and objective of the position

The main purpose of the role is to achieve the agreed sales target and increase market share through well established/ appointed distributors in the assigned international region/country.

This role will report to the Vice President - International Business based at Head Office, Ahmedabad.

Roles & responsibilities

The Sales Manager would be responsible for generating sales by appointing importers/distributors (One large or multiple regional distributors).
Product enrolment with Retail chains, Home Centers, DIY stores.
The person would be responsible for generating sales for the entire range of company products.
Establish professional relationships with key personnel in identified customer accounts.
Conduct Sell-out activities and training at the customer level.
Regularly follow up for orders, payments & reconciliation from the accounts.
Report and communicate customer feedback.

Work experience required

International sales experience in the category of home appliances and consumer electronics is mandatory for this sales role.
Has good relationships with the decision-makers to be able to open new accounts for sales.
8 - 12 years of experience in selling to International National and Regional Retail chains, home centers, DIY stores, and Big Distributors (Must for Exports / international sales).

Expected qualifications

MBA / PGDM in Sales and Marketing
