Job Description Technical Delivery Manager / Infrastructure SME (Cloud & Infrastructure Operations)

Role: Manager Cloud Infrastructure & Operations Location: Mumbai (with travel as required)

Key Responsibilities:

Delivery Strategy & Execution:

Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud infrastructure solutions including IaaS, SaaS, PaaS, Backup, Security, and Disaster Recovery.
Align delivery execution with business goals and go-to-market strategies for BFSI and enterprise clients.

Client Engagement & Solution Design:

Collaborate with clients to assess infrastructure and operational needs, translating them into scalable cloud solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with mid and senior-level stakeholders, especially in BFSI and enterprise verticals.

Technical Solutioning & Implementation:

Design and implement hybrid cloud architectures, managed services, and security frameworks.
Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in client discussions, articulating the technical and business value of proposed solutions.

Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations of cloud and infrastructure environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and compliance.
Implement ITIL-based service management practices for incident, problem, change, and capacity management.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and service quality.
Coordinate with NOC/SOC teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders for seamless service delivery.

Proposal & RFP Support:

Support pre-sales efforts by contributing to RFP/RFI responses with technical and operational insights.
Develop detailed solution documentation, proposals, and client presentations.

Market & Technology Insights:

Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
Provide feedback to product and engineering teams to refine offerings and improve delivery models.

Required Skills & Experience:

8-12 years of experience in IT infrastructure delivery and operations, with a focus on cloud and managed services.
Proven experience in managing enterprise-scale infrastructure, particularly in the BFSI sector.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization, and data center operations.
Experience with ITIL processes and tools for service management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Educational Qualifications:

Graduate in Engineering, IT, or a related technical field.
Architect level Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), ITIL, or service management frameworks are advantageous.
