Manager-GBS-Non FS Finance-Commercial

As a Manager in the EY - Finance Consulting Team, you will be involved in Business Transition assignments from a functional perspective. Your role will include setting up frameworks for Global Business Services (GBS) or Share Services Centre (SSC) in collaboration with clients. You will also be responsible for Performance Improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for enhancements, conducting finance process assessments, analyzing pain areas, and proposing solutions across various industries and countries. **Key Responsibilities:** - Expertise in GBS/SSC Setup assignments and Process Assessment for Finance and Accounting, Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, or Supply Chain domain - Participate in proposals, solutions, and RFP/RFI responses related to offerings - Knowledge of finance functions and FS sector with experience in GBS set up activities - Familiarity with activities like Account Reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, etc. - Strong accounting skills, understanding of financial reports and statements, and knowledge on Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning, and Budgeting Processes - Experience in financial close activities and knowledge of ledger and sub-ledger systems such as SAP ERP/HANA, Oracle GL - Ability to translate business requirements into technical language and model (good to have) - Effective prioritization and execution of tasks in high-pressure environments - Supervising teams on project work and willingness to travel (Domestic & International) **Qualifications Required:** - Commerce Graduates or MBA (Finance) - Other professional degrees like CPA, CFA, CMA considered based on relevant experience - 10+ years of work experience in Business Transition/GBS/SSC setup activities - Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are essential **Additional Details About EY:** EY is dedicated to helping clients from the world's top companies, offering diverse projects and opportunities for personal development.
