We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the team in our Baltimore office.


CohnReznick is a hybrid firm and most of our professionals are located within a commutable distance to one of our offices. This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

YOUR ROLE.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:


• Lead multiple audit engagements and competing priorities

• Collaborate to plan audit objectives and determine an audit strategy

• Review and prepare financial statements, footnotes, workpapers, management letters, agreed upon procedures, and other attestation engagements.

• Demonstrate professional creativity in dealing with client matters and make constructive suggestions to improve client operations.

• Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, and lead change efforts effectively

• Understand and manage firm risk on audits and proposals

• Accept responsibility and utilize firm resources to complete assignments.

• Supervise, train and mentor staff during engagement

• Contribute in preparing training materials and impart training on technical topics

• Assess performance of staff for engagement evaluations


YOUR EXPERIENCE.

The successful candidate will have:


• CA, CPA is required

• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required

• 1+ year of supervisory experience

• Experience with financial services clients, such as , private equity and venture capital funds, hedge funds and funds of funds

• Knowledge of audit software such as or ProSystem Fx a plus

• Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills
