Job Description

As a Finance Controller at our company, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial operations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and providing strategic insights to drive business performance. Your hands-on approach, strong analytical skills, and effective team management abilities will be essential for success. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Books of Accounts:** - Ensure accurate and timely maintenance of all books of accounts - Oversee the general ledger and ensure correct recording of financial transactions - Conduct regular reconciliations and close processes - **Bookkeeping:** - Supervise bookkeeping functions for accurate financial record-keeping - Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate policies - Maintain an organized approach to financial documentation - **Audit and Compliance:** - Manage relationships with external auditors and coordinate audit activities - Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate policies, and legal requirements - Implement best practices for improving AR and AP processes - **Cash Flow and Treasury Management:** - Monitor and manage cash flow for liquidity - Develop strategies to optimize working capital and minimize financial risks - Oversee treasury functions, including investments, debt management, and risk management - Liaise with banks and financial institutions for managing financing arrangements - **Internal Controls and Compliance:** - Develop, implement, and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets - Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards - Conduct reviews and audits to assess internal controls effectiveness - **Team Leadership:** - Manage and mentor finance professionals, promoting continuous improvement - Conduct performance evaluations and provide training opportunities - Foster collaboration and effective communication within the finance team and across departments - **Systems and Process Improvement:** - Evaluate and enhance existing financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy - Implement new technologies and tools for streamlined financial operations - Ensure accurate and timely financial data entry and reporting **Qualifications:** - CA qualified (2019-2016 pass out at least) - Minimum of 5-9 years progressive experience in finance and accounting roles - Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills - Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) - Exceptional leadership and team management abilities - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment As for additional details about us, Sigmoid is a leading provider of Data Analytics Services, specializing in serving clients in the F500/1000 space globally.
