Deputy Manager Finance & Accounts

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations:

• Lead daily accounting functions (AP, AR, GL).
• Ensure accuracy of financial records, reconciliations, and audit trails.
• Approve journal entries, vendor payments, and vouchers in line with policies.
• Streamline workflows to enhance efficiency.
  

• Financial Reporting:

• Prepare/review P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
• Deliver monthly MIS and dashboards for management decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and scenario planning.
  

• Compliance & Audits:

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESIC, PT, and Income Tax.
• Coordinate with auditors and consultants for smooth audits.
• Manage timely filing of returns and statutory documentation.
• Stay updated on tax/regulatory changes.
  

• Budgeting & Cost Management:

• Assist in annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
• Monitor performance vs. budget and conduct variance analysis.
• Recommend cost-control strategies to improve margins.
  

• Stakeholder Management:

• Liaise with banks, auditors, and regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally (HR, Procurement, Operations, Sales).
• Support senior management in business reviews and board presentations.
• Participate in ERP automation initiatives.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• CA / CA Inter (mandatory).
• 6– 8 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts.
• Strong knowledge of IND AS/IFRS, taxation, and compliance.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Tally, Zoho Books).
• Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
