Manager Enterprise Security (Security Operations Tooling)

Role Overview: As a Manager Enterprise Security (Security Operations Tooling) at M&G Global Services, your primary responsibility is to monitor and maintain operational security controls and governance measures related to the security toolsets used by the Security Operations function, ensuring compliance with M&G Plc Security Policy. You will support process improvement initiatives, assist in project deliveries, and ensure the operational health of the Security Operations portfolio of products. Key Responsibilities: - Support process improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing service quality and cost-effectiveness. - Assist in project deliveries involving security operations toolsets within the M&G environment. - Regularly monitor and health-check the Security Operations portfolio of products to meet agreed KPIs. - Raise vendor support cases and oversee them through resolution. - Maintain and update a knowledgebase and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). - Provide daily and scheduled monitoring of security events and investigate and remediate activities as needed. - Communicate findings to the Security Operations Tooling team. - Ensure effective operation of Security Operations controls in alignment with the control landscape. Qualifications Required: - Highly organised with excellent prioritisation and planning skills. - Ability to work independently or collaboratively on multiple tasks simultaneously. - Demonstrated passion for innovation and problem-solving. - Willingness to take ownership and drive better outcomes by exercising judgement and initiative. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent analytical capabilities with keen attention to detail. - A degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a masters degree is a plus. - Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or similar are preferred.
