Manager-EHS

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with all applicable EHS regulations, standards (like Factories Act, OSHA), and internal policies.
• Identify unsafe conditions and practices and initiate corrective actions to mitigate safety risks.
• Conduct regular plant safety inspections, hazard identifications, and risk assessments (HIRA/JSA).
• Monitor and implement safety control measures for plant equipment, utilities, and hazardous chemicals.
• Lead and support accident/incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Coordinate with all departments to ensure safety SOPs are followed during maintenance, production, and engineering activities.
• Organize and conduct safety induction, refresher trainings, mock drills (fire, chemical spillage, emergency evacuation), and toolbox talks.
• Maintain and update safety records such as near-miss reports, training logs, and inspection checklists.
• Liaise with statutory authorities (DISH, Factory Inspectorate, Pollution Control Board) for safety audits and compliance.
• Drive behavioral safety initiatives and employee engagement programs on EHS.
• Support implementation of ISO 45001 / OHSMS / Environment Management Systems (ISO 14001).
• Prepare monthly and annual EHS performance reports and KPIs.
