Manager - Design

Role & responsibilities:

Design & Concept Development

• Project Feasibility study: Ensure through studies that project should be aligned with market trends, customer preferences and financial viability.
• Analysis of Project Mix: Optimize the balance among residential, commercial and different other type of projects.
• Coordinate with Principle architect for viable designs

Design Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with consultants (architectural, structural, MEP, landscape, interior, etc.) and inhouse team to ensure design execution and integrated design documentation
• Support in site related design issues.

Compliance & Approvals

• Ensure architectural designs comply with local building codes/by laws, fire norms, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and coordinate drawings for statutory approvals

Quality & Aesthetic Standards

• Maintain aesthetic quality and functional design throughout all project phases
• Review mock-ups, and finishes

Cost & Value Optimization

• Balance design aesthetics with cost efficiency.
• Work with quantity surveyors to ensure designs stay within budget

Sustainability & Innovation

• Integrate green building principles and energy-efficient design
• Research and integrate the latest design innovations and trends into projects to enhance marketability and improve the customer experience.

Documentation and Reporting

• Ensure accurate and complete preparation of registry documentation for each project.
• Reporting to seniors in mutually discussed format and timeline.
