Manager - Design

1. Work with Managers, SMEs, production staff, BD, Marketing & Projects to discuss and organize project from conceptual design till completion.
2. Preparation of Design brief/ RFP for onboarding of design consultants.
3. Prepare evaluation parameters for evaluating design concepts master plans received from external architects, based on the design brief.
4. Complete detailed site analysis in terms of its boundaries, topography, impediments to Development.
5. Develop & articulate project design concepts, master plans with input from senior management and other relevant departments.
6. Conduct a detailed review of the concept design to ensure alignment with the design intent of the project, local development rules/ regulations, space optimization requirements, operators specifications etc.
7. Work with Liaison architect to understand the local rules/regulations/norms pertaining to mixed used developments and the necessary approvals/ permissions/ sanctions required.
8. Co-ordinate with all design consultants to ensure timely issuance of all design deliverables from concept design till handover of the project.
9. Co-ordinate with all internal stake holders for design sign off & design package issuance during all stages of design development.
10. Review the reports for tracking activities across several phases such as Concept design, Schematic design, Detailed design, GFC drawings, actual construction & handover etc.
11. Identify and prepare schedules/ tracker for design deliverables aligned to project launch timelines.
12. Participate in Cost Optimisation and Value Engineering workshops.
13. Coordinate with projects team to resolve all technical queries regarding drawings and conduct site visits and reviews.
14. Be responsible, in detailing and preparation of architectural drawings, floor plans or any design related material to facilitate development of marketing collaterals.
15. Co-ordinate with all design consultants to ensure timely issuance of as built drawings for allotted projects before handover.
16. Conduct periodic site visits to ensure progress of the project, understand the requirements of the Projects team and track adherence to budget, timelines and design intent.
17. Prepare design for New Land Feasibilities and co-ordinate with BD, Liaison & Projects team in preparation of business case.
18. Participate in design standardisation initiatives and competitor projects study.
