To provide subordinates training and coaching for subject knowledge and grooming. To achieve individual sales targets with sales site team. Develop and maintain relationship with clients. Role & responsibilities : 1. Project Management and Execution: Lead and manage the entire MEP team, including engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors, across various project sites. Develop and implement project strategies, plans, and procedures for MEP works, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines, budget, and quality standards. Monitor and control project progress, identifying potential risks, delays, and challenges, and implementing proactive mitigation plans. Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire fighting, and low-voltage systems. Ensure that all MEP works are executed in accordance with approved designs, specifications, drawings, and applicable building codes and regulations. 2. Design and Engineering Coordination: Review and approve MEP design drawings, specifications, and shop drawings, ensuring they are technically sound and coordinated with architectural, civil, and structural designs. Collaborate with architects, consultants, and other stakeholders to provide technical clarifications and resolve design-related issues. Implement value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and enhance the performance of MEP systems without compromising quality. Ensure timely review and approval of all engineering deliverables and submissions. 3. Quality and Safety Assurance: Establish and enforce rigorous quality control measures and standards for all MEP works. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to monitor the quality of installation and ensure adherence to best practices. Champion a strong safety culture on-site, ensuring strict compliance with all health and safety regulations and protocols. Oversee the preparation of final handover documents, including as-built drawings and operation and maintenance manuals. 4. Budgeting and Procurement: Manage the MEP budget, tracking project costs and identifying opportunities for cost savings. Oversee the procurement of MEP materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective purchasing. Review and approve contractor and vendor bills and manage the work measurement and billing process. 5. Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all MEP-related matters with clients, consultants, contractors, and statutory authorities. Liaise with government and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary clearances and approvals for MEP services. Provide regular progress reports and updates to senior management and other stakeholders. Preferred candidate profile : Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is required. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus. Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of all MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical (HV & LV), plumbing, fire fighting, and building management systems (BMS). Proficiency in relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Stakeholder and Vendor Management: Act as the main point of contact for external stakeholders, including consultants (architects, structural engineers, etc.), contractors, and government authorities. Lead the selection and negotiation process for contractors and vendors, ensuring favorable terms and service quality. Manage relationships with all project partners to ensure seamless coordination and issue resolution. Liaise with liaison team to secure necessary permits, clearances, and approvals. 5. A Master's degree in Construction Management or a related field, or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, is highly desirable.
