Having min.7+ years of experience in the mechanical system engineering. Experience in Water/Hydro / Irrigation / Power / Marine and Defence / Oil and Gas.

Summary /Purpose of the role

The purpose of this role is to: -

· System engineering for mechanical scope of work.

· Shall prepare schematic and general arrangement for pumping system and Hydro Power scheme.

· Shall prepare technical specifications for various mechanical equipment’s (like Pump, turbine, valves, REJ, Crane, piping, OPU, LOS, Gear box, Piping) Give technical support to site, purchase for offer evaluation.

· Shall prepare AC and ventilation system sizing calculation, Firefighting system calculation, Pump Head calculation.

· Shall be able to resolve site issue related to mechanical activities.

· Shall give technical assist during proposal engineering and detail engineering work.

· Shall do feasibility, capability study and preparation of design basis report of mechanical scope of work.

Key Responsibilities

· Checking of the Pump selection, PHGA drawing, pumping system layouts, hydro power layouts etc.

· Sizing of various equipment i.e., pump, valve, crane, auxiliary system, forebay equipment’s, OPU, MIV etc.

· Perform auxiliary cooling water system, drainage and dewatering system design.

· Perform crane sizing, AC Ventilation sizing, piping design, support plate design etc.

· Check of various Layouts of auxiliary systems, forebay side equipment’s, delivery side equipment’s.

Skills

· Knowledge of Indian & International codes and standards.

· Having hands on operation AutoCAD, MS excel and software.

· Shall have good verbal & written communication skills.

· Able to leads complex engineering projects, providing technical guidance and mentorship to team members.

· Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite.

· Conceptual knowledge of the basic mechanical design aspects.

· The candidate should have experience in design engineering for hydropower and pumping projects.

· Experience in MBOP for hydropower and pumping projects, including sizing and selection of MBOP equipment, preparation of specifications for auxiliary equipment, basic design of pump house and powerhouse layout, foundation layout, cooling water system layout, piping design etc.

· Hydraulic calculations of pump sumps, head calculations, selection and setting of pumps/turbines.

· Knowledge of Indian and international codes and standards for hydropower and pumping systems.

Good to have skill set:

· Knowledge of P&ID for cooling, drainage, and drainage systems.

· Knowledge of hydro mechanical equipment such as gates, penstock protection valves, screens, etc.

· Technical bid evaluation of MBOP equipment.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
