Role Overview

Manager Dealership Development

This is a strategic, high-ownership role requiring deep experience in used car dealership networks, automobile sales, channel development, or commercial vehicle sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Dealer Acquisition & Onboarding

  • Identify, shortlist, and onboard used commercial car dealers in Delhi NCR and North India
  • Conduct dealer profiling, capability assessment, and negotiation of commercial terms.
  • Create a structured dealer funnel and ensure weekly/monthly onboarding targets are met.

2. Dealer Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with key dealers and serve as the primary point of contact.
  • Conduct regular dealer visits, performance reviews, and business planning sessions.
  • Ensure dealer satisfaction and uninterrupted sales flow.

3. Vehicle Sales & Channel Performance

  • Drive sales of retired/old Everest Fleet vehicles through the dealer network.
  • Plan and execute monthly sales targets with data-backed forecasting.
  • Ensure optimal pricing strategies to maximize margin while ensuring quick vehicle movement.

4. Process & Compliance

  • Ensure all documentation, RTO processes, and financial transactions adhere to company policies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Ops, Finance, RTO, Asset team) for smooth vehicle handovers.
  • Track dealer credit, payments, and resolve any disputes.

5. Market Intelligence

  • Stay updated on used commercial vehicle pricing, dealer margins, local market dynamics, and competitor activities.
  • Provide insights to leadership to refine pricing, procurement, and disposal strategies.

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Maintain structured dashboards on dealer funnel, sales performance, and vehicle inventory.
  • Present weekly/monthly reports to city/central leadership.

Experience & Requirements

  • Mandatory:

    4–8 years of experience in used car dealer networks / channel sales / automobile sales (preferably commercial vehicles).
  • Strong dealer network familiarity in the city.
  • Proven ability to build channels from scratch.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Data-driven approach with proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Comfortable with field-heavy work (70%+ on-ground).
  • High ownership, integrity, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
