Manager - Climate Action

This role is for one of the Weekday's clients

Salary range: Rs 1100000 - Rs 1800000 (ie INR 11-18 LPA)

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Define project objectives, deliverables, and execution plans using logical frameworks.
• Oversee project implementation, ensuring alignment with timelines and milestones.
• Build partnerships with sector experts, government bodies, private agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to drive successful execution.
• Manage and mentor project teams, assigning responsibilities and monitoring performance through KRAs/ KPIs.
• Provide subject-matter guidance to project teams by developing in-depth expertise in environmental domains.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies, academic institutions, NGOs, and citizen groups.
• Track and document project activities, preparing progress and fund utilization reports for donors within agreed timelines.
• Monitor project budgets, ensuring efficient fund management and compliance with reporting requirements.
  

Profile Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Sciences, Management, or related field.
• 6-8+ years of relevant experience in project design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of large-scale environmental or CSR projects.
• Strong knowledge of project management tools including project design, stakeholder mapping, needs/baseline assessments, logical frameworks, and M&E methodologies.
• Proven ability in community outreach, mobilization, and building stakeholder alliances.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi (proficiency in Marathi is an advantage).
• Team-oriented mindset with strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to travel across India for program implementation.
