Purpose:
Within the Digital Engineering Innovation organization, a part of SKF Technology Development, we have about 160 people working at many sites globally. We deliver solutions such as Engineering Tools, Product Lifecycle Management, and configurators to support our strategy and business needs. Together with other departments at SKF we build the digital landscape and drive the solutions that will help transform our full value chain. Manager Bearing Digital Development
The line manager s main responsibility is to lead, coach and inspire the development team and its individual members. The main applications within the Bearing Digital portfolio include SKF Bearing Assist and super precision bearing manager mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms as well as Bearing Analysis Report Tool progressive web application. The team consists of product owners, UX designers, testers, web UI developers, and cloud back-end developers.

Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and inspire the development team to be autonomous and efficient.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to align team efforts with product strategy and company goals.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, architecture, and testing.
People Development
- Clarify roles and contributions of team members.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
Recruitment
- Identify team needs and define job descriptions.
- Collaborate with PX for recruitment and onboarding.
- Manage external consultants.
Collaboration and Culture
- Facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and promote collaboration.
- Ensure the team has the necessary skills, support, and tools.
- Communicate team status and progress to management.
Process Improvement
- Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative culture.
- Promote continuous improvements and implement process changes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies.
Organizational Interface
- Collaborate with other managers and product managers for alignment.
- Participate in the Digital Products Engineering management team.
Candidate s Profile:
- Experience- 12 years to 15 years
- Education- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience working with agile product teams (software development)
- Documented leadership experience
- Experience developing mobile applications
- Ability to engage with others and collaborate in large enterprises
- Professional fluency in English and other language skills are meriting
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
- Experience with versioning in Azure devops, CI/CD and GitHub.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
