Job Summary:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to grow our contract manufacturing business in the pharmaceutical/nutraceutical segment. The role involves client acquisition, relationship management, and business expansion across domestic markets.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development

• Generate new leads through social media, referrals, cold calling, and networking.
• Attend trade fairs, conferences, and client meetings.
• Understand client requirements and convert inquiries into business.
• Follow internal SOPs for KYC, NDA, and contract documentation.
• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms while maintaining margins.
• Coordinate with internal teams for timely execution and delivery.
• Track competitors and market trends.
• Prepare sales forecasts and MIS reports.
  

Client Relationship Management

• Handle client queries related to products, pricing, timelines, and compliance.
• Follow up on new product developments and changes.
• Collect client feedback to improve service and retention.
• Maintain strong post-sales relationships for repeat and referral business.
  

Reporting

• Maintain client and lead database.
• Share weekly and monthly sales and market reports.
  

Team Support

• Guide and align team members with business goals.
• Encourage training and skill development.
  

Work Model

• Work from home role.
• Travel required only for client meetings.
  

• Mandatory visit to Head Office once every 3 months.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in contract manufacturing is mandatory.
• Background in Pharmaceutical or Nutraceutical industry preferred.
• Marathi language proficiency mandatory (local candidates preferred).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in handling domestic markets.
• Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
