Manager Financial Reporting

Job Responsibilities:

Statutory Audit Leadership

• Lead and manage statutory audits across multiple renewable energy entities
• Coordinate with external auditors, regulatory bodies, and internal departments to ensure timely and compliant audit closures.

Team Management

• Lead and mentor a team of 10+ finance professionals, fostering capability development in renewable energy accounting and reporting.

Financial Reporting

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements.
• Conduct trend analysis on financial performance and key account balances.
• Manage quarterly, annual, and ad hoc reporting requirementsespecially those tied to capital markets, green bonds, or project finance.

Accounting Standards & technical expertise

• Ensure compliance with

  IND AS, US GAAP

  , and

  IFRS

  in all financial reporting.
• Handle complex accounting areas, including held-for-sale assets, deferred tax under IND AS and US GAAP, intercompany transactions, etc.
• Review audit schedules and key disclosures, including AR, AP, Revenue, Loans, Interest, NCI, FCTR, Deferred Tax, and other GAAP adjustments.

Process Review & Risk Management

• Review internal policies, procedures, and financial systems to identify risk areas.
• Recommend and implement control measures to mitigate identified risks.

Automation and Systems

• Drive and support financial statement automation initiatives.
• Experience working in an SAP environment is essential.

Desired Experience and Competencies :

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 6+ years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
• Strong technical knowledge in Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS) and US GAAP.
• Prior exposure to accounting and reporting in the renewable energy sector (solar, wind, hybrid) is highly preferred.
• Hands-on experience with SAP and financial reporting automation tools.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
