Position Title : Senior Manager/AGM/DGM - Industrial Engineering

Location: Palghar, Maharashtra

Qualification : BE/B. Tech -

Experience: 12 - 18 Years

Job Purpose:

This position will be responsible for driving productivity improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction across the plant.

The role involves analyzing work methods, manpower utilization, time study, and capacity planning to ensure operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Productivity & Process Optimization

• Conduct time & motion studies, work measurement, and method improvements.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Optimize manpower allocation, line balancing, and material flow.
• Drive plant-wide productivity improvement projects.

Capacity & Cost Management

• Plan capacity utilization for machines, manpower, and materials.
• Analyse and reduce production costs through waste elimination and efficiency improvement.
• Support budgeting and cost-control initiatives.

Industrial Engineering Tools & Techniques

• Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and Six Sigma initiatives.
• Conduct layout planning for expansion, modernization, or new projects.

Workforce & Training

• Define manpower norms and productivity benchmarks.
• Work with HR on skill matrix, training, and performance standards.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead, mentor and develop electrical engineers, supervisors, and technicians.
• Plan manpower deployment and skill development programs.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure ergonomics and safe working methods in shop-floor design.
• Collaborate with QA for defect prevention and process quality improvement.
• Ensure compliance with ISO and other industry certifications.
