Job Description

You will be responsible for directing the implementation and adherence of agile practices within your assigned areas, ensuring alignment with corporate agile transformation goals. Providing guidance and mentorship to Scrum Masters and agile teams will be essential to enhance their effectiveness and agility. Your role will involve developing and implementing agile policies and procedures within the company's standards. Managing and resolving impediments affecting the agile transformation process within your area of responsibility will be a crucial aspect of your job. You will analyze and report on agile metrics to track the effectiveness of agile practices within your domain. Facilitating strategic planning sessions, including resource allocation and roadmap development for agile initiatives, will be part of your responsibilities. Creating a culture of continuous improvement by organizing training and workshops to enhance agile capabilities will be key. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners and Engineering leaders, to ensure cohesive agile practices is essential. You will also be responsible for managing the activities and performance of Scrum Masters and agile teams, ensuring alignment with departmental goals. Ensuring a safe and productive work environment by adhering to quality standards set by the company will be a priority. Key Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Project Management, or related field. - 5+ years of experience in managing agile teams, focusing on software, hardware, QA, or related engineering disciplines. - Proven ability to lead agile transformations and manage Scrum or other agile methodologies. - Strong leadership and organizational skills with the capability to guide and motivate teams. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective in collaborating with diverse stakeholders. - Experience working with cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams. - Familiarity with agile tools and software. Additional Preferred Qualifications: - Agile-related certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or equivalent. - Experience in transitioning organizations from waterfall to agile methodologies. - Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. - 2+ years of coaching experience in agile methodologies. - Effective vendor management skills and experience in handling administrative tasks and delegating work. - Experience in managing distributed or remote teams.
