Manager Accounts & Taxation

About the Role:
We are looking for a competent and detail-oriented Accounts Head to lead the accounting and finance operations of our steel bright bar manufacturing company. The role involves full responsibility for financial control, statutory compliance, reporting accuracy, and coordination with management, auditors, and banking institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the entire accounting function, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.
• Ensure timely preparation and finalization of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Supervise GST, TDS, and income tax compliance, including return filing and reconciliation.
• Manage day-to-day cash flow, fund flow, and bank operations.
• Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits.
• Implement internal financial controls, expense monitoring, and cost optimization measures.
• Review and approve accounting entries, vouchers, and reconciliations.
• Provide periodic MIS reports, financial analysis, and budget forecasts to management.
• Ensure proper documentation and compliance with partnership firm and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with customers, vendors, and financial institutions as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• M.Com / CA / CMA (Inter or Final) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering firm.
• Thorough knowledge of Tally / Zoho Books, GST, TDS, and statutory compliances.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.

Remuneration:
Attractive salary package commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

• Ambattur, Chennai, Tamil Nadu: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
