Manager - Accounts Receivable

You will be responsible for managing accounts receivable and credit control at Toll Asia Logistics. Your key responsibilities will include: - **Accounts Receivable Management**: - Supervising the invoicing process to ensure accuracy and timeliness. - Monitoring aging reports and following up on overdue accounts. - Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies. - Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual AR reports. - **Credit Control**: - Conducting credit assessments and setting credit limits for new and existing customers. - Developing and enforcing credit policies and procedures. - Monitoring credit risk and recommending actions to mitigate exposure. - Liaising with legal teams for the recovery of long-outstanding dues. - **Team Leadership**: - Leading and mentoring the AR and credit control team. - Assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training. - Conducting performance appraisals and supporting career development. - **Compliance & Reporting**: - Ensuring compliance with internal controls and accounting standards. - Supporting audits and providing necessary documentation. - Collaborating with other departments (Sales, Customer Service, etc.) to resolve issues. **Qualifications Required**: - Bachelor's degree in accounting, CA / CA Inter is a must. - 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable and credit control. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ERP systems. - Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. - Proficiency in MS Excel and financial reporting tools. - Ability to manage a team and work under pressure.
