Mall Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and responsible Mall Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of a mall located at Thoppumpady. The ideal candidate should come from a hospitality background and be capable of managing mall facilities, security teams, and housekeeping staff, ensuring smooth operations and an excellent customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the entire mall facility operations, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and smooth functionality.

Manage and supervise security guards to ensure proper vigilance, visitor management, and emergency preparedness.

Oversee the housekeeping team, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all mall areas.

Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and facility maintenance teams for timely repairs and upkeep.

Monitor CCTV operations, fire safety systems, and building management systems (BMS).

Handle tenant requirements, resolve operational issues, and ensure timely support.

Prepare daily/weekly operational reports and update management on mall performance.

Plan, schedule, and manage staff deployment as per mall shift requirements.

Ensure compliance with mall policies, safety standards, and statutory regulations.

Lead emergency response and handle any operational incidents efficiently.

Requirements

Preferably a graduate with a hospitality background (Hotel Management/Facility Management).

25 years of experience in mall operations, facility management, hospitality, or similar roles.

Strong leadership and people-management skills.

Ability to multitask and handle emergency situations calmly.

Good communication and coordinating skills.

Willing to work in shift basis (morning/evening/rotational shifts).

Basic knowledge of facility systems, security procedures, and housekeeping operations.

Additional Skills (Preferred)

Experience in vendor management and budgeting.

Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance requirements.
