As a Maintenance Trainee, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of maintenance operations within the manufacturing facility. Your primary goal is to ensure the efficient and reliable functioning of machinery, equipment, and facilities to support a smooth production process. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance planning.
B. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Equipment Maintenance:
· Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for production machinery and equipment.
· Coordinate and perform routine inspections to identify potential issues and address them before they result in downtime.
· Collaborate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime.
2. Facility Management:
· Oversee the maintenance of the facility, including building infrastructure, utilities, and grounds.
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment.
· Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance tasks as needed.
3. Team Leadership:
· Manage a team of maintenance technicians and allocate tasks based on skills and priorities.
· Provide training and mentorship to maintenance staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
· Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance department.
4. Budget Management:
· Develop and manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
· Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or safety.
5. Spare Parts Inventory:
· Maintain an organized and efficient spare parts inventory to minimize equipment downtime.
· Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure the timely availability of spare parts.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
· Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and inspections.
· Generate regular reports on equipment performance, maintenance costs, and downtime analysis.
7. Continuous Improvement:
· Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains in the maintenance workflow.
· Implement best practices and stay updated on industry trends to enhance maintenance processes.
C. EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND & EXEPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
· 0-1 years of experience in Maintenance Management in the Manufacturing industry (Furniture / Wood industry will be added advantage).
· Maximum Age Limit 45 years

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
