Maintenance specialist

Vacant positions with job descriptions are mentioned below:

1. Floor Head – Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire maintenance floor operations.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor preventive & corrective maintenance activities.
• Ensure minimum downtime of machines and utilities.
• Coordinate with production and other departments for smooth plant operation.
• Implement safety, 5S, and compliance standards.
• Guide, train, and supervise maintenance team.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
• 8–12 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing line.
• Strong leadership & problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of automation, hydraulics, pneumatic & utilities preferred.

2. Shift In charge – Maintenance (Input/Output Line)

Responsibilities:

• Supervise shift maintenance activities for assigned line (Input/Output).
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and ensure quick rectification.
• Maintain logbooks, checklists, and shift reports.
• Coordinate with production for smooth operation and reduced downtime.
• Ensure availability of tools, spares, and consumables.
• Guide skilled & unskilled manpower during shift.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
• 4–7 years of relevant experience in machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of PLC, automation, conveyors, and utility systems.

3. Skilled Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive & breakdown maintenance of machines and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs in electrical/mechanical systems.
• Support Shift In charge in daily maintenance tasks.
• Maintain records, checklists, and safety compliance.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in machine maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Flexible for shift work.

4. Semi-Skilled / Unskilled Maintenance

Responsibilities:

• Assist skilled technicians in maintenance and repair work.
• Handle tools, cleaning, and machine support tasks.
• Support in loading/unloading, material handling, and workshop housekeeping.
• Follow instructions from seniors and maintain safety.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of tools and equipment handling.
• Physically fit, hardworking, and willing to work in shifts.
