Maintenance Head

Head Maintenance isa leadership role, responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical and mechanical maintenance activities within the Manufacturing plant. This includes ensuring the optimal operation, reliability, and longevity of all production equipment and facilities, while leading the maintenance team and implementing best-practice maintenance strategies (e.g., Preventive, Predictive, and Corrective maintenance). The goal is to maximize production uptime, minimize operational costs, and maintain a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership and Management

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of electrical and mechanical technicians and engineers.
• Develop and manage the annual maintenance budget, controlling expenditure for spare parts, services, and capital projects.
• Establish departmental goals, key performance indicators (KPIs), and maintenance schedules, ensuring alignment with overall production targets.
• Manage relationships with external contractors, suppliers, and service providers.

  , programs for all plant assets, including presses, boilers, resin plants, sanding/trimming lines, and utility systems.
• Oversee and direct all corrective maintenance and breakdown repairs, ensuring rapid and effective resolution to minimize downtime.
• Manage the inventory of critical spare parts, ensuring necessary components are available while optimizing stock levels.
• Spearhead continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment efficiency, reliability, and safety.

Technical and Safety Compliance

• Ensure all maintenance work and equipment modifications comply with local and national safety, environmental, and industry regulations (e.g., electrical codes, OSHA.
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of all utility systems, including HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, and power distribution.
• Directly supervise complex troubleshooting and diagnosis of equipment failures, covering both electrical systems (PLCs, VFDs, motors, controls) and mechanical systems (hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, alignment).
• Maintain accurate maintenance records.
