Role & Responsibilities Maintenance Head

• Head and manage

  overall plant maintenance operations

  (Mechanical, Electrical, Utilities).
• Ensure

  maximum equipment uptime

  and minimum breakdowns across the facility.
• Develop and implement

  preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance plans

  .
• Lead troubleshooting of critical machinery, utilities, and infrastructure.
• Plan and control

  maintenance budgets, spares, and AMC contracts

  .
• Manage and mentor

  maintenance team, technicians, and contractors

  .
• Coordinate with Production, QA, and Stores for smooth operations.
• Ensure compliance with

  safety standards, statutory norms, and audits

  .
• Oversee installation, commissioning, and modification of machines/equipment.
• Maintain documentation: maintenance logs, SOPs, breakdown analysis, MTTR/MTBF.
• Drive

  continuous improvement initiatives

  to reduce downtime and cost.
• Handle vendor development for spares, services, and technical support.

Preferred Candidate Profile – Maintenance Head

• 10–15 years of experience

  in plant / factory maintenance.
• Qualification:

  B.Tech / Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics)

  .
• Strong hands-on knowledge of:
  
• Mechanical & Electrical maintenance
• PLCs, motors, panels, compressors, DG sets, utilities
• Experience in

  manufacturing / industrial / engineering plants

  .
• Proven capability to

  lead maintenance teams

  and manage contractors.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with

  preventive maintenance systems & audits

  .
• Knowledge of safety practices, statutory compliance, and documentation.
• Good planning, coordination, and decision-making ability.
• Comfortable working from office / plant location.
• Exposure to CAPEX planning and new machine installation is a plus.
