Shift Engineer Modules Maintenance Location: Jamnagar, Gujarat Interview Location: Kolkata Employment Type: Permanent Role Experience: 2 – 5 Years We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Equipment Engineer to join a leading Photovoltaic (PV) Manufacturing unit in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for equipment stability, uptime improvement, and developing technical competencies in the maintenance team to support world-class solar cell production. Key Responsibilities: * Ensure and follow all safety procedures in work areas * Coordinate with shift supervisors and maintenance teams * Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities * Monitor and report on shift-wise downtime, attendance, and production hindrances * Conduct and participate in daily pass-down meetings * Enforce and maintain 5S standards** on the shop floor * Create clear roles and responsibilities for maintenance personnel * Attend to and resolve breakdowns within defined timelines * Manage spare parts appropriately and maintain repair records * Conduct effective On-the-Job Training (OJT) for new team members * Participate in equipment engineering systems training and knowledge sharing Required Qualifications & Skills: * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering * 2–5 years of relevant experience as an Equipment Engineer in manufacturing * Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills * High energy, result-driven, and proactive approach to work * Proficient in problem-solving, troubleshooting, project management * Comfortable with PLC/PC-based equipment controls, robotics, vacuum systems * Experience with solar or semiconductor manufacturing is a plus * Knowledge in automation, lean maintenance, and plant startup** is desirable * Strong command of English (written and verbal) * Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed If interested share your updated CV via WhatsApp - 8655732168.
