Maintenance Assistant

Key Responsibilities ·        Receive incoming spare parts and verify quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders. ·        Issue spare parts to mechanics and maintenance staff as per job requirements. ·        Maintain accurate records of spare parts issued and returned in the register/system ·        Monitor stock levels and report shortages or excess inventory to the store In-charge ·        Ensure proper labeling, storage, and cleanliness of the spare parts area. ·        Assist in periodic stock audits and reconciliation. ·        Coordinate with maintenance and operations teams for urgent part requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications ·        Basic technical understanding of heavy vehicle spare parts. ·        Experience in stores/inventory handling preferred. ·        Working knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel). ·        Good coordination and communication skills. ·        Ability to maintain organized records and follow SOPs. ·        Morning Shift: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM Growth & Opportunities ·        Opportunity to grow into Store In-charge / Inventory Controller roles. ·        Exposure to fleet maintenance operations and spare parts management systems.
