  • Carry out plumbing work including repairing taps, flushing systems, pipelines, water tanks, and drainage systems.
  • Ensure all plumbing lines are leak-free and functional at all times.

4. Property & Room Maintenance

  • Be responsible for the maintenance of all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas.
  • Respond quickly to maintenance service requests raised by Front Office or Housekeeping.
  • Ensure rooms are maintained to resort standards and rectify defects immediately.
  • Maintain daily maintenance checklists and activity logs.

5. Vendor Coordination & Cost Control

  • Identify issues quickly and propose cost-effective and long-term solutions.
  • Take quotations from vendors, compare and submit for management approval.
  • Coordinate with approved vendors for repair work and material procurement.
  • Maintain proper records of materials used, repairs done, and expenses incurred.

6. Diesel & Boiler Management

  • Ensure regular diesel procurement from nearby petrol stations for genset and boiler use.
  • Maintain diesel logbook including quantity purchased, used, and balance.
  • Monitor boiler and genset usage to optimize fuel consumption.

7. Department Coordination & Communication

  • Actively participate in resort maintenance WhatsApp groups to stay updated and respond to complaints or tasks in real-time.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Housekeeping, F&B, Security, and Admin departments to identify issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Attend daily briefings if required and update on pending and completed tasks.

8. Safety, Compliance & Documentation

  • Follow all safety protocols and statutory compliance related to electrical, fire safety, and equipment handling.
  • Ensure all certifications and licenses related to technical work are up to date.
  • Keep proper documentation of all AMC contracts, service records, vendor details, and warranties.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or equipment malfunction immediately to the Manager.
