Experience with z/Architectures, preferably on z/OS · Strong hands-on IPL / POR procedures and knowledge on Automation · Production Support and ABEND handling · Knowledge in z/OS, SMP/E, JES, TSO / ISPF, DFSMS, VTAM, RACF, CICS, DB2, Datacom/AD and Administration commands · Work experience in HMC console monitoring, master console monitoring and VTAM monitoring · Knowledge in RACF / ACF2 to provide User access privileges · Knowledge in IBM utilities – ADDRSU, FDR, IEFBR14, IEBCOMPR, IEBCOPY, IEBGENER, IDCAMS, ICKDSF, IEHINITT, · Experience in Monitoring and Administration Tools OEM/ISV Tools –OMEGAMON, Mainview, Sysview
· Experience in Tape, DASD storage management and tools – DFHSM, VTS, $AVRS and dispatch tools · Experience in REXX, CLIST, JCL, OMVS, CA7/11, CA-Endevor · Experience in participating in DR drills · Experience in hardware maintenance/trouble shooting
