Job Description

As a Mainframe Systems Programmer at the company, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and configuration of z/OS system software. You will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge hardware and security systems. Your responsibilities will include: - Installing, maintaining, and configuring z/OS system software - Configuring hardware such as z15/z16 systems, cart, and disk infrastructure deliveries - Managing z/OS Security software, including certificates, encryption, and ciphers - Writing Assembler and user exit code to meet operational requirements - Setting up Security solutions including certificates and encryption protocols - Troubleshooting complex issues to ensure smooth system operation - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless system functionality - Providing expertise and support for system-wide problem-solving initiatives - Continuously improving and optimizing system performance and security Qualifications required for this role include: - Extensive experience with z/OS installation and configuration - Hands-on experience with HCD, z15/z16 systems, cart, and disk infrastructure deliveries - Expertise in Security and certificates management, encryption, ciphers, and security configurations - Proficiency in Assembler and user exit coding - Deep understanding of SMPE, WLM, TSO/ISPF, and REXX - Experience with Parallel SYSPLEX configurations - Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement - Effective communication and collaboration skills within diverse teams - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mainframe systems programming Additionally, the following skills would be beneficial: - Experience with Unix Systems Services - Exposure to ISV products, particularly Broadcom and BMC tools Join us in this exciting opportunity to contribute to the optimization and security of mainframe systems.,
