Role Overview: As a Mainframe Systems Programmer, you will play a crucial role in our team by managing the installation, maintenance, and configuration of z/OS system software. You will work with cutting-edge hardware and security systems to ensure the smooth operation of our mainframe environment. Key Responsibilities: - Perform z/OS system software installation, maintenance, and configuration - Configure hardware components such as z15/z16 systems, cart, and disk infrastructure deliveries - Install, maintain, and configure z/OS Security software, including certificates, encryption, and ciphers - Develop Assembler and user exit coding to meet operational requirements - Manage Security solutions involving certificates and encryption protocols - Troubleshoot complex issues to maintain system software functionality - Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless system operation - Provide expertise and support for system-wide problem-solving initiatives - Continuously improve and optimize system performance and security Qualification Required: - Extensive experience in z/OS installation and configuration - Hands-on experience with HCD and configuring z15/z16 systems, cart, and disk infrastructure - Proficiency in Security and certificates management, encryption, ciphers, and security configurations - Strong skills in Assembler and user exit coding - Deep understanding of SMPE, WLM, TSO/ISPF, and REXX - Familiarity with Parallel SYSPLEX configurations - Excellent problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement - Effective communication and collaboration skills within diverse teams - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in mainframe systems programming Additional Company Details: There are no additional details of the company provided in the job description.
