Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain mainframe applications using
COBOL, JCL, DB2, CICS
, and other related technologies.
Perform code analysis, debugging, and performance tuning of mainframe applications.
Understand and translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliverables.
Participate in system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
Support production systems by identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation, job flows, and data dictionaries.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, testers, and infrastructure teams.
Assist in the modernization of legacy systems and migration efforts when applicable.
Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards.
Provide on-call support and participate in incident resolution and root cause analysis as needed.
COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, MVS, Endeavor ISPF, TSO, CICS, Control-M, and basic IBM utilities
