Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Magento Developer (Full Stack) with strong technical expertise and a problem-solving mindset. The ideal candidate should be capable of handling both front-end and back-end development, building robust Magento solutions, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

This role requires someone who is intelligent, proactive, and confident in communication, with the ability to analyse requirements and deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain Magento 2 websites (front-end & back-end).

• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance eCommerce solutions.

• Customise Magento modules, extensions, themes, and APIs as per business requirements.

• Work closely with designers, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve performance and functional issues.

• Integrate third-party services, payment gateways, shipping APIs, and external tools.

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive UI implementation.

• Follow best coding practices, security standards, and Magento development guidelines.

• Conduct code reviews and ensure clean, maintainable code.

• Stay updated with the latest Magento trends and eCommerce best practices.

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

Magento & Backend

• Strong hands-on experience with Magento 2 (5+ years preferred).

• Expertise in PHP, Magento architecture, custom module development, and REST APIs.

• Experience with database design and optimisation (MySQL).

• Knowledge of Magento performance optimisation and security best practices.

Front-end

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.

• Experience with Magento UI components, themes, and responsive design.

Tools & Technologies

• Version control using Git.

• Experience with deployment processes and server environments.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.

Soft Skills & Expectations

• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving ability.

• Smart, proactive, and quick learner.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.

• Comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment.
