Machine Shop Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Production & Scheduling: Manage daily production, create schedules, and ensure on-time delivery of high-quality products.
• Leadership & Staffing: Supervise machinists, provide training, conduct performance reviews, and foster a positive, accountable team culture.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict safety protocols (OSHA, etc.), conduct safety training, and maintain a safe working environment.
• Process Improvement: Implement Lean principles, analyze root causes of issues (8D, 5 Whys), and drive efficiency and cost reduction.
• Equipment & Maintenance: Oversee machine setup, maintenance (preventative/corrective), and technical support.
• Inventory & Materials: Manage raw materials, tooling, and supplies, ensuring sufficient stock.
• Collaboration: Work with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to resolve issues and align operations with business goals.
• Reporting: Monitor KPIs (safety, quality, productivity) and report performance to management.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Experience: Proven supervisory experience in a machine shop environment with hands-on machining background.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of CNC, conventional machining, technical drawings, and various materials.
• Leadership: Strong ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and root cause analysis skills.
• Communication: Effective interpersonal and communication skills for team and cross-functional interaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹2,000,000.00 - ₹2,500,000.00 per year
