Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Supplier Development Professional, located in Sonipat. The professional will be responsible for managing supplier development activities, evaluating and negotiating costs of sheet metal and plastic molding parts, conducting supplier audits, and improving supplier performance. Day-to-day tasks may include working with cross-functional teams to ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, developing and maintaining supplier relationships, and identifying cost reduction opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical background with experience in costing sheet metal and plastic molding parts
  • Supplier development, auditing, and performance improvement skills
  • Experience in evaluating and negotiating supplier costs
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in an on-site team environment
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in supplier development and mechanical engineering
  • Relevant certifications and training in supplier management or related fields are advantageous
