We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Officer to join our team. The Logistics Officer will be responsible for coordinating the transportation, storage, and distribution of goods. This role requires strong logistical planning skills, the ability to multitask, and a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Coordinate the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses or distribution centers.
Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely delivery to customers.Monitor inventory levels and track shipments using logistics software.Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.Prepare shipping documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.Evaluate the performance of logistics partners and vendors.Implement process improvements to enhance logistics operations.Develop project plans, set schedules, and oversee the end-to-end delivery lifecycle.
